The Cruelest Month by frankhymus

The Cruelest Month

APRIL is the cruellest month, breeding
Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing
Memory and desire, stirring
Dull roots with spring rain.
Winter kept us warm, covering
Earth in forgetful snow, feeding
A little life with dried tubers.
-T.S. Eliot

Needless to say I am a huge Elliot fan, British English spelling and all.

Forget the exif time, Forgot to turn back from Australia time.
Ah... but the sun!

“If time and space, as sages say,
Are things which cannot be,
The sun which does not feel decay
No greater is than we.
So why, Love, should we ever pray
To live a century?
The butterfly that lives a day
Has lived eternity.”

@vignouse Thanks Richard.

The D7500? A strange animal, and I am afraid I am not tempted. I was hoping the D500 sensor (carried into the D7500) would provide better practical "high ISO" performance than the D7200, Bigger fatter 21m pixels versus the 24mp in the same area, but alas, that was not the case. Check out the "sports scenario" scores at DXOMark, the D7200 slightly beats out the D500 even. And I even tried out those "fake news" high ISOs that are advertised (on the D500 even), and it's all hype.

Now if it had the 153 focus point AF system with all the cross-points and -3EV sensitivity on more than the center one, as the D500, perhaps, but it doesn't. So I wait for the D750 FF successor. This year, I hope.

I like this tulip magnolia. I'm glad that it survived the cold spring so you could photograph it.
