Lake Albano

Lake Albano is a small volcanic crater lake in the Alban Hills, 20 kilometres southeast of Rome. The town of Castel Gandolfo, overlooking the lake, is the site of the summer residence of the pope, the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo.

They both deserve a visit! 😊
