The green door by frappa77

The green door

Brett @brett101 and I were drawn again... This time he wrote to me: "I think this week I would like to go with a texture - something that you find interesting enough and thought provoking enough to photograph..."

Never thought a door could provoke me!

@frappa77 - Each and everyone of these three photos are outstanding for the texture 'get pushed' theme which I provided for you - another week and another excellent job Francesca! Of the three, this is hands down my favorite - the exposed wood and the several layers of paint fit this challenge perfectly!

Francesca, I'm so sorry I forgot to give you a challenge when I first came home at noon! Here is your challenge. Make a picture that tells a story from an ant's point of view. How does that sound? I hope you can have fun with it.

Thank you so much for your kind words Tommy... Thank God we are all fine... The echo of the earthquake was strong here in Rome and many people got up and went down on the streets... Unfortunately the situation in the area of the epicenter is critical and the hit villages are destroyed... Several people are still under the ruins and the rescues are difficult... let's continue to pray...

@lizhammond
Thanks a lot Liz! Let's hope that our government will keep all the promises made for these people... Many concrete aids came from all over the conutry, but there is so much to do...
