I have taken this pictures last Sunday in the small village of Villa San Sebastiano in Abruzzo... Many of the houses are on sale since a long time and, unfortunately, are in state of abandon...

Thanks a lot for your lovely comments! I used the window of the house as framing... it was partially opened so I could peek inside! People leave their villages to go to live in the big cities so many of these houses are opened only during the summer vacations or are put on sale but end up to remain unsold and fall in a state of abandon...
Unfortunately, many of the houses of the villages hit by the earthquake two days ago are in these or even worst conditions... it's incredible how things may change in a while...
I was thinking about you when I heard of the earthquake and prayed all was safe. I'm so sorry for those who have had tragedy hit them but glad to know from the above comment that you are safe. It is very surprising how quickly things can change when something like this happens.

You are so kind Ann! Thank you so much for your thought and prayers... It is so true, things can change in a while and we continue to loose time to postpone, ruminate and complain... We should always remind the importance to live well the present moment: not yesterday nor tomorrow, but now!
