Sun on the terrace by fueast

Sun on the terrace

Its a bit curious as to why you find small rows of terrace houses amongst the fields in the Calder Valley. Maybe they were built for farm workers or linked to old mining sites or mills. Anyhow I quite like them and these looked great with the sun on their fronts. Low key day. Finished off my fruit cage. Tried the last golf club walk unless there's another lockdown. Shame because this was a lovely one with country views out towards Harrogate and there was nobody there but me my friend and Bessie.
Lovely photo- you’d want to get on with your neighbours wouldn’t you?

Lovely B&W. I like how you reduced the peripheral light to focus on the building.

A beautiful landscape, especially the black and white tones.

A wonderful scene, great lighting, terrific edits! I agree with Judith, one would hope for good neighbors for sure ;-)

I walk alone every day--I see one group of walkers at the same time mostly, but otherwise, no one around. Will be strange when there is more to see. This is a lovely walk!
