Some hours old goslings in their nest on the canal side yesterday. We saw them again later, out for their first swim.

This is a wonderful nature image. You can see their downy nest so clearly, and the adult ( Mom, I presume) even has some fluff in her beak.

@falcon11 thanks. I'm not sure which parent it was. I think they share the work. The other one was guarding the tow path by hissing at passers by. Attentive parenting.
