Bigger snow... by fueast

Bigger snow...

22 / 365
Not that anyone should care but I did manage to make the snow bigger - at the expense of image resolution I think. Its a weird glitch....

Lovely whimsical photo

I like this one better than the one with the smaller snow. It looks real to me. I would not have known this was done with editing in Picmonkey if you hadn't said so on your other picture. Very cool.

Pretty shot. Love the capture of the falling snow.

I won't care then. I like thought. I recently discovered a sharpening brush in aperture. It brings out detail that is masked by scanning and compression. Have also changed my settings to reduce compression when saving after scanning. The problem can be the many programs will compress image size and mask detail.

@peterdegraaff Maybe its the opposite? I had to force it to compress the size in order to make the snow look bigger. Anyway, thats what you get for faking it!

@meisen325 Sorry to bore you...

Still not as big as @meisen325 's whopper flakes. I think it's to do with the size of your national debt ;0) @fueast It'll snow for real soon...

@fueast Haha - I'm at work so can't get any worse. Now that you know how to make big snow you could add some to you pic of 4th March where the real snow is looking a bit stringy.

@judithg Or the size of your ironing pile? I can make it as big as you like but detail will be lost. Anyway, I sorted out the theory and that makes me happy. Can't bear it when things don't make sense.

@meisen325 Ha maybe but that was full on proper freezing!

@meisen325 @judithg Snowgate is now closed....

@fueast @meisen325 Oh I don't know - we have spent billions on a public enquiry yet...

Or you might consider what you are asking for in your upcoming weather! I really like this even if the snow is fake
posted December 12th, 2012
I personally like your new snow better!! But the important thing is why you like best!
