Bishop's Palace, Ely, UK

This was the bishop's palace until the early 1940s. During WW2 it was a hospital. My dad, who was a Pathfinder in Lancasters in WW2 had his appendix removed here as a precaution. It was then a Sue Ryder home and is now the 6th form centre for the King's School. It was built in the 1400s.
