But no problem as the sheep walked painfully slowly towards us and then passed us and we realised its back right leg was lame. We reported it later and were told that several in the flock had footrot and were being treated.

I hope there is a cure for that. Sheep are one of my favorite farm animals. My Mom had a pet sheep as a child.
