It looked like Spring today, although it felt like the middle of Winter. I went back to Edgbaston Reservoir to check on 'my' injured Heron today, and the reservoir was a buzz of activity. Yachts everywhere, ducks, every man, woman and their dog (must've been a dog club out walking)... even a couple of swans. My son was with me, and we were able to get right up close to this swan, although, I'm sure you'll agree... he looked none too happy to have me so close to him! What a gorgeous bird. He stood right up and stretched his wings out at one stage, and I thought that he was certainly about to attack me, but I was too interested in 'Getting The Shot'. And I did......
@gailmmeek Ah, you've got the 'nifty fifty'? It used to be my favorite after the 18-200VR, but now that I have got the 40mm with macro options, that has become my new nifty fifty (forty).
@gailmmeek Yes Nikon too. But not fanatic, just because my last film SLR was Nikon and I wanted to use the lenses on the DSLR. I also have a Canon point & shoot and find it a great value for money camera.
@viajero79@cmc1200@alisonp Thank you all so much. I can't believe how many lovely comments and fav's this one has got... such encouragement to me. Thanks.
@emrob Thank you, Mandy- and thanks for the fav.
