The Emptiness of Busy Places

I took this shot because I was surprised at how empty this major shopping centre was. It's been 11 days since lockdown ended, 4 since the shops opened up again, half the school aged children are back in the classroom today and yet there was barely a person to be seen.
Great shot and perspective. It is rather scary for all the shop owners. Here life is pretty much back to normal.

@ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. I look forward to normal here. At least I actually got to go to the shops woohoo, red letter day!

Looking forward to the day when scenes like this are forgotten. Nice shot.

@fluidsculpture Thanks Paul. For me a good caption enhances a photo. I like to write so captioning images is fun.

@walterpigeon Thanks Dennis. I can't wait for life to return to "normal". I have a wee grand daughter who is six months old and I haven't see her in four months and she's only two hours away but in a different state. Looking forward to moving around more freely in the near future.

It will be wonderful when this great image is part of an archive and life is bustling as we remember it. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

@briaan Hard to image life bustling the way it was but I guess we're getting there. And thank you for your very kind caption.
