Merry Christmas to all and fingers crossed for a better new year than the last few we've all experienced.
This delightful young woman is my lovely and only daughter, Kate. She and her husband own a heritage listed cafe, The Oaks, which sits in parkland next to Lake Burley Griffin. So, as the cafe was closed over the holidays we had our family Christmas lunch there this year. I had two of my six children and two of my thirteen grandchildren present. I could say it was a quiet gathering but we still ended up with a group of fourteen so, much merriment ensued.

What a lovely shot and great food presentation. You would need the cafe if the whole family were to be together. It must have been a wonderful day for all. I suppose we are all wishing for a healthier and happier 2022.
