In the background -The Church as you see it today. Dates back to 1452 (555 years old).
In the foreground - A memorial to George Marsh (Martyr) born in the parish of Deane near Bolton in 1515. He was burned to death at the Stake in Boughton, Chester, on 24 April 1555.
