In the foreground - A memorial to George Marsh (Martyr) born in the parish of Deane near Bolton in 1515. He was burned to death at the Stake in Boughton, Chester, on 24 April 1555.

Beautiful shot. Nice processing. Love hearing about the history, a big gruesome though. Not very nice people back in the 1500's were they!!
