I just flicked a bunch of these off of my cone flowers today. They are so destructive, too, as I can see they are making a meal out of the flower. Nice close up, but like you said, there are already too many of them to begin with!

@boatpainter They have really been decimating my roses and there does not seem to be any allowed agent that is effective against them, other than hand picking.
