Mother's day is officially today but I had my Mother's day treat yesterday with a day including a lovely lunch, time wandering around the harbour area and then an escape room experience. This shot is from the harbour wander part of the day and it's been tarted up in processing to give it a soft more painterly look. Might be slightly better on black.
@quietpurplehaze Escape rooms are quite popular around here now. It's kind of like a life sized puzzle. The escape places usually have a few rooms with different themes or back stories you get "locked in" ( of course there is actually a way out, if someone gets claustrophobic or something, but if you go out that way you lose). Then you have to figure out how to get out. This is the first one I've done so I don't know how they all work but this one involved a number of locks for which the combinations could be figured out by clues found in the backstory or the items left in the room.
