Lots of snow yesterday, and below freezing temperatures today have turned the back yard into a winter wonderland with the heated birdbath the only open water in the area.
@koalagardens Yes, two things at work there. I traded ISO value for shutter speed but also, I was not that close and had an 85mm lens on so this is a crop from a larger shot which also makes the noise worse. Itâs always a trade off, especially when you get caught, yet again, with the wrong lens for the situation!
just checked your metadata and viewing large can see the trade in noise for clarity - very well done!
