This tree peony has rough bark which tens to peel off in chunks, especially as the branches age.
I think this will be the last of my 30-shots project. I'm well short of 30 shots but, maybe because I picked a too limited subject, or maybe because I just lack imagination, I am finding it has become an unpleasant chore to try to think of new ways to take a picture of this plant. Sometimes, in creative endeavours, it helps to have restrictions since it focuses one from too many possible options but, especially at this point in time, when so many things are restricted and options so limited on a daily basis I don't want to be also so restricted in my photography choices so I'm going back to taking whatever catches my eye on any given day.Hate to be a quitter, but there it is.
