They may not remember what you said, they may not remember what you did, but they will always remember how you made them feel.

Katniss should start to lose her winter coat soon. Her fur was looking wild and wooly on this day and the lighting made a halo out of her fluffy coat. I love her striped front legs and untouched green eyes.
Best on black.
@quietpurplehaze Well, not every match is a success. I have always been a dog, horse and bunny person...and highly allergic to cats. Katniss was a stray that I planned on helping both her and her kitten for 3 months, then finding them good homes. Katniss stole my heart, my allergy was gone and she is playful and kind to my little dog.
We had a long hair Tabby that looked very similar this one. We called her, "Nosy". She was dropped off near our house by persons unknown. She came out of the culvert under our driveway and ran right to me when I was getting out to open the garage door. We kept her and gave her brothers and sisters to the Amish farmer that lived nearby. Nosy was a great mouser. But one day we found her dead in the neighbor's yard a victim of hit and run. I still miss her!
@skipt07 Such a happy story that turned sad when she was hit by a car! Katniss also came us sometime after her owners moved and left her behind. She was pregnant and brought us one kitten. After 3 months I found her kitten a nice home.
@kchuk How kind of you Elyse! Thank you! Katniss is enjoying a nice nap on the hood of my car in the garage and Sophie got lucky and had two Sunday breakfasts because I didn't know my husband had already fed her! She loved it! BTW...I think you missed the photo of Katniss on March 27th. :)

My daughter fostered one for a while but, unlike you, it was not a wholly successfully experience. They are handsome cats.
