Sit with me in the top of the Magnolia Tree. Tell me all your secrets. Darlin' tell me that you'll stay.
...Drew Holcomb
All the magnolia blossoms have fallen but my memories remain. It was beautiful while it lasted and now the trees have bright green leaves and a sprinkle of blooms. Oh well...that party's over and on to the next.
@sarahlth Thank you, Sarah. Yes, I liked the touch of blue peeking through. My magnolia trees kept me entertained this month. They were prolific in their blooms.
That is an exquisite photo. Makes me sad that I only snapped a few photos when I was at the botanical gardens because only a few blossoms were opened and I've likely missed the rest. But now I can enjoy your lovely shot.
@lynnz Thank you for the FAV! I had so many photos of the Magnolia trees (125) it was hard to choose what to post...but I did really like this one! Thanks!
What a delight to think of it as a party! It certainly was a riot of festivity! You milked that opportunity beautifully, and not you'll need to find Katness a new setting to show her off. This one was fabulous while it lasted!
@Weezilou Hi Louise! I was going to show the last photo of the month showing the large area of scattered magnolia leaves with the caption "clean up on isle one" but this photo won out! :)
Looked at this on my phone a while ago. And made a mental note to tell you how much I love this shot when I got home. But I can see that a lot of people beat me to it. But anyway, I do. Love this shot. I love looking up through the heart of the tree, filled wall to wall with flowers, except for the small touch of blue near the top, as if all of those blossom were leading our eyes right up to the heavens. Divine.
