Dalmatian Foxglove Flowers by gardenfolk

Dalmatian Foxglove Flowers

A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.

A garden find in the sunlight. I had to look up the name of the flower. Beware...Foxgloves, though very pretty, are ALL poisonous!!!
Such wonderful vibrant colours! fav

Fabulous image! Love the colors! This is a new flower for me so I looked it up and discovered it is deer resistant, which is exactly what I need . . . I'd love to have some of these gorgeous flowers in my yard. :-)

Beautiful. It is amazing how many flowers are poisonous. Delphinium (Larkspur), Monkshood, Foxglove, Oleander, Daffodils, Hyacinth, Azalea, Rhodies, Laurel, Lily of the Valley, Bleeding Heart, Yew and of course Castor Beans. The list just goes on and on.

@lstasel I guess that is their defense mechanism. I knew about Oleander but didn't know about Azalea, which I have in my yard with a dog and a cat!

That is quite an exotic foxglove. I love their flowers because they are so show. But it is not that easy to shoot up inside the bells and keep focus. You have done a very good job of it. Nicely done.
