Katniss...Silly girl thinks she is in hiding under the magnolia tree from me. I so love her antics! See how her coloring changes to her environment...much more gray looking than brown tabby. I don't know how she does that! Plus the green from the leaves was cast upon her fur. Soft focus and Orton process added.
Nice on black.
Oh how you two make me smile! Your baby girl is such a delight to see in her many moods! Over the years, there have been a few cats (no more than 10 come right to mind) who have charmer us on a regular basis...cats we come to know by name and recognize as soon as the photo comes up! Katniss is rising rapidly in the ranks! That certainly delights ME!
That sounded horrendous being stranded on the 3 rd floor with a broken leg! At least I am on the ground floor. I would not have been able to have the op if I hadn't turned the dining room into a bedroom. So at least I can be wheeled between the kitchen toilet and living room, I won't see upstairs until I have the strength in my foot after the cast comes off. So it's going to be a long year!
@taffy Thanks Taffy...she definitely is entertaining! I have always had a dog in my life but she is the first Kitty so everything she does makes me laugh or say awwww! I am so happy that she gets along so well with my dog when Katniss could take her out with one swipe of her claw! :)
@craftymeg Margaret...it was a broken foot but I still had to keep weight off it for a full 6 weeks. The first few days was awful but my husband cooked and left me with a cooler of drinks and snacks during the day when he was at work, my sister in law took the puppy and my son took the dog. It was still frustrating to be housebound and needed to depend on others so much. After the cast came off, I still had difficulty with complex regional pain syndrome and I needed some therapy. Now, it is good as new. Wishing you the best and relax and enjoy your view, read, watch movies and sleep...it will not last forever. :)
@helenhall Actually, she had a small opening between the leaves and she was watching me and thinking she was well hidden. I cropped the top part out and wanted to focus on her legs and feet. :)
Haha don't they love to play hide and seek. My Hollypolly hides behind the blinds and I have to pretend I cant find her after a few "where's Holly gone" she will pop out to surprise me. A great hiding capture under the leaves.
