Besides her pretty eyes, I love seeing her whiskers lit up against the wood. I found a long whisker the other day on the kitchen floor! They have 12 whiskers on each side that will occasionally fall out and grow again.

I hope you don't think this is creepy but when I find a whisker on the floor, I save it. I have a little collection in a small vase. I don't know why I do,'I just always have. Like a found feather or something. Bud's were black which is so cool against the other white ones. Beautiful Katniss shot. Her eyes photograph so well.

Being my first kitty, I have decided I relate more to cats as far as this quote goes, though I have had dogs and loved them all my life!
