Casino in Italian means gathering place. This was not built for gambling but had a ballroom and movie theater.
Many thanks! People that live there drive golf carts, motorbikes and bicycles...slow and easy going place. You forget it is only an hour boat ride from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles...a nice little getaway for the day or week.
