Chihuly Sea Blue and Green Tower
Childhood memories served as inspiration for some of the Chihuly’s works of art. In this tower for example, the blue of the Pacific ocean is combined with the green fishnet floats he remembers from the beach. His towers are, in essence, inverted chandeliers that were designed for spaces in which the ceilings could not withstand the weight.
