My first full day in Florida and the wind was blowing like crazy. Then came the pelting rain and it poured. Thunder and lighting were next and it lasted almost all day and last night. The ocean was an unusual light green with whitecapps. The sky, a gray/blue and full of wet weather. It was a wild welcome! But, I didn't mind as I was exhausted from a long travel day and my knee has been swollen and painful. It was a perfect day to add ice and take it easy while enjoying the picture window scene outside. People were scattering off the beach when the rain began but then they returned to see the sunset.
Wow what a dramatic sunset! Good that you could rest your knee. Still suffering with a dodgy knee so I can sympathise! Hope it doesn’t spoil your holiday!
