Do Good And Forget by gardenfolk

Do Good And Forget

Millions of trees in the world
are accidentally planted
by squirrels who bury nuts,
then forget where
they hid them.
Do good and forget.
It'll grow some day.

Meet Van Gogh, the brown squirrel with a notch on his left ear. He is one that frequently comes to my yard for food. I can only name the squirrels with some sort of identify mark...the others are the Greys and Browns, which I sometimes refer to as the Montagues and the Capulets when they squabble and chase each other off. :)

A marvellously vital shot. I love how is "brush" is highlighted from behind. You couldn't get a professional model to pose this well.

It's very interesting to me that your Van Gogh and my "Besther" (Esther with a B in front of it for Buster who preceded her) and Buster also had/have notches in their ears. Cute shot!
