The soul without
imagination
is what an observatory
would be without
a telescope.

This is in my son's backyard that is all rocks and dirt at the moment. The hare has been searching for some shade, under a chair or along the fence, in this 100+ degree heat. I suggested they put out some water and a carrot. This wild hare reminds me of the famous Albrecht Durer painting titled "Young Hare" from the year 1502.
"I shall goe intill a hare With sorrow and such mickle care" Maddy Prior, Year. A 9 minute collection of songs celebrating the life of the hare. Love this photo.
@gardenfolk Sorry: I didn't mean to "correct"! I was enthusiastic with this photo because I have never seen a real wild hare; only rabbits, whether in captivity or wild.
@domenicododaro No worries! To me every dog is a puppy! And to me rabbits, bunnies and hares are all in the same family so I interchange the word. I added the difference to not only teach me but others if they are interested. :)
