We visited the Newcastle Mandarin Ranch to pick up 2-10lb. bags of satsuma mandarins...small, seedless, juicy and sweet. Earlier in the month they have a mandarin festival at the Auburn County Fairgrounds but I prefer visiting the ranch. Reluctantly two grand boys came with us. Once we got there, Dillon couldn't stop eating the mandarin samples and both Dillon and Darren loved sitting on the old tractor and truck they had. It is a family farm of 5 acres with beautiful views. The weather was perfect and it was a fun outing. There are lots of recipes and the history of mandarins in our area on the last link below:

@shutterbug49 Yes! I think we are close! Next weekend is the last Orchard Days for the season and we are hoping to return again with our grand boys for Mandarin milkshakes and an opportunity to buy the mandarins one last time for the year! :)
