...Dalai Lama
I like the lighting on her fur. And her thick and bushy raccoon tail laying along the fence. You can see her tail when viewed on black.
Katniss loves to be out on the fence and watch the birds and the squirrels. She loves to sit right next to the peanut bowl and "play chicken" with the squirrels. I ask her to be nice. I hope she knows that the birds and squirrels are fun to watch & feed and we do not want to hurt them. Please be kind.
Best on Black.
@dfarrington Hi Debra...thank you. If you would like to see more photos of Katniss that I have taken, go to browse at the top of the page, then tags and type in Katniss in the search bar. There are 189 photos of her. :)
189 photos of Katniss - wow. I know I would love every one of them! This image is especially nice. The tones, the shadows and light - and of course, her gorgeous eyes. Have you thought of making a Katniss calendar? I'll take a dozen:)
@365karly1 Awwww...you are too kind! I have thought about a calendar but haven't done one. I did do a Katniss collage mousepad and my iPhone cover is one of her photos too. Actually, it would be fun to write a children's book telling the story of how she was a pregnant stray and how I found a home for her kitten AND Katniss too but after 2 weeks of missing her, hearing phantom meows and crying every day, I asked for Katniss back! I felt like I betrayed her trust and gave her to the wrong people. You don't pick your animals, your animals pick you. :)
@casablanca You are so sweet. Thank you for your concern. We are doing better. My husband was able to repair one of the openings in our fence, even with his fractured ribs. The ants in the house are gone for now. We have power. My son is safe though he did not get promoted yet. We are both over our cold/coughs...so things are looking up! I hope you are feeling better too and your husband is healing better than ever. :) Thank you.
@gardenfolk So pleased you're feeling better and kudos to your hubby for managing the repair feeling like he does! I finally had a night last night with less coughing, so after 3.5 weeks I think I am finally winning, hurray! Hopefully hubby is healing - new xrays on 2nd Feb to find out. Thanks for cheering him on!
