This is Kaiser, a Clydesdale horse. He was born in 2001, is 18 hands high and weighs 1700 pounds.
We walked through the Draft Horse barn and saw many of the larger breed of horses. Kaiser was resting but horses cannot lie down for long. They actually sleep standing up and do not require that much sleep...only a few hours.
