Creating beauty in our lives
is one way of expressing
the sacred within us-
it will bring value to your world.

Day 5 of my trip to Cincinnati began at First Watch, a delicious eatery I was able to enjoy twice. Lucky me...the food was so yummy. After a delicious meal, we drove to historic downtown Milford to One Main Gallery. They carry beautiful art tile from Rookwood Pottery, Motawi Tileworks and Medicine Bluff Studio. It was wonderful and I bought a few pieces to take home.
Later, we visited the Krohn Conservatory where they had their annual Butterfly Show and the Cincinnati Art Museum for a quick look. The Chihuly blue glass chandelier in the lobby was beautiful.
After that we saw Mirror Lake and the Spring House Gazebo, then up the hill to the Overlook of the Ohio River and the state of Kentucky on the other side. We had a short rainstorm as we left the art museum but the sun came back, then more rain off and on, which was fun. By the time we arrived home, the sky looked so dark and apocalyptic.
We returned home to see Sandy’s kitties, have a light dinner and to work on a fun craft project. Another great day! There is so much to see in Cincinnati!
Above is a collage of all the pretty art tiles I wish I could have bought...one of each, please!
And a lovely collage of them
