I really enjoyed the tour at Churchill Downs...the history, tradition and seeing the twin spires. We saw the open stall area where they saddle up the horses before the race, the structure near the infield where Call to Post is played on the bugle, the Winner's Circle, the track and all the names of the winning racehorses on special plaques around the grounds. Afterwards, we went through the museum which was great.
Would be wonderful. My son went one year, as he is a Kentucky Colonel. It was such miserable weather, though, he didn't stay for the big event! Another year!
