Adopt the pace of nature.
Her secret is patience.
...Ralf Waldo Emerson
The flowers are blooming. The birds are singing. The trees are budding leaves. Stop looking at the walls and look out the window. We will get through this.
I have been home from Florida for 3 weeks. I am staying at home like our governor has declared. I have been able to exercise every day for 30-60 minutes since I have a treadmill at home. However, I seem to be well on my way to the COVID "19" pound weight gain. My scale has gone up 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks!!! Yikes! That wasn't suppose to happen! I don’t gain on trips or cruises because I stay active. Is anyone else having this issue?!?
still loving that magnolia. I haven't stepped on the scales yet, but I can safely say that there are far less biscuits and doughnuts being constantly waved before me than when I am at work. I am hoping for the opposite effect.
Love the photo and quote, also your comment ‘stop looking at the walls...’. Not sure about weight gain here, but it’s highly likely as we’re not exercising much and have been enjoying more sweet treats than usual!
Gorgeous! And what a profound thought that is, to keep looking out! I sit next to the windows, and sometimes have trouble concentrating for looking at all that's going on outside...which may "only be" the clouds passing over!
Just lovely. Yes everyone is talking about the COVID 15, comparing it to the weight gain their first year in college. I’ve been walking, sometimes twice a day, but it doesn’t seem to help!
