Animals are a window
to your soul
and a doorway to
your spiritual destiny.
If you let them into
your life and allow
them to teach you,
you will be better for it.

Katniss is in the backyard with the magnolia tree behind her. She does enjoy company when she is outside.
What a gorgeous kitty-portrait! Katniss! As in Everdeen??

@jyokota Yes! I named her after the character in the Hunger Games. She was a stray, abandoned by her family, who decided to move and left her behind. She was pregnant and picked me to help her. She is my very first kitty as I grew up allergic to cat dander but I am no longer allergic. I had a difficult time naming her as I never meant to keep her but find her and her kitten a home after keeping them together for 12 weeks...but, I fell in Love! I chose the name Katniss because she was brave, a survivor, so intelligent and kind. My small dog, Sophie and Katniss get along great too!
