Now that we have a roof that doesn't leak, I love listening to the rain on the roof. I appreciate all the sounds of nature...rain, birds singing, squirrels chattering, leaves rustling, wind, ocean waves...any noise that is not mechanical.

We had a history of leaking roofs and now I'm so relaxed in rain. But our heavy tiles and roof insulation means I can't hear the rain at all! I do miss it! This is beautiful!

I was doing that about 1/2 hour ago. It was raining and Ande's cycling!! Now the sun's out and the sky's blue. He's not home yet. I hope it doesn't rain again while he's out. That wouldn't be happiness to him!!
