We moved to this home 25 years ago today! I have moved 3 times, always in May.
This photo was taken almost 3 years ago after we got a new roof. After that, we had the house painted a slightly different shade and rebuilt our back balcony. There are always more projects and maintenance to be done. Home sweet home.
4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 2 1/2 car garage. 3500 sq ft on a third of an acre.

I was born in California and always lived in California. It is approaching the time to think about a downsize in the next few years. I am wondering about a change but where to go is the big question. Another state? Canada? I don’t think I want to go to outer space.
I love your story. We just "downsized." What we actually did was find a home with all that we need on one floor. And I have a laundry room for the very first time. But we have 3 bonus rooms upstairs that we somehow have managed to fill.
