@radiogirl Some have thought Katniss was a Maine Coon but based on her facial features, I don't think she is. She looks more like Norwegian Forest or even most like a Siberian Forest Cat. It is fun to try and figure it out...a mystery since she was a pregnant stray left behind when the family moved. :)
Many thanks for all your kind comments and favs. Katniss is my favorite subject because she always takes a good photo. Sophie Belle, being all black, is much more difficult to capture. Neighbor kitty, Peanut Butter, is fun to photograph as well. :)
@Weezilou Thank you, Louise! You know how much I love my Katniss! When I look at cat photos, she closest resembles the Siberian Forest Cat but do not know for sure. It doesn't really matter...just fun to try to figure it out! I did have her DNA tested and I got crazy answers back...haha! In fact, I think I should contact them again for update.
@gardenfolk Reading your notes, I have to wonder at the perversity of individuals who cast off their pets! My grandson has one of a litter that came from the same beginnings, and the rest (including the mother) have good homes, but *HOW* can people do that and expect that others will clean up their messes after them! OK...I'm only just rising this morning, but I can tell I'm getting tuned up to take on whatever befalls me today!!!
But our Gracie has similar traits.
@joysfocus Thank you! Nice to see you posting again. :)
@amyk The afternoon sun lit her up along with our patio bee hive bricks.
@lynnz Thank you, Lynn. Katniss is still my muse. :)
@wendyfrost Thank you, Wendy. My camera loves her.
@seattlite Many thanks, Gloria! :)
@sunnygirl I think so, Mallory. Thank you!
@ludwigsdiana Thank you, Diana! She is so purrdy!
@beryl I love her eyes too, Beryl...and her thick bushy tail! :)
