I declare before you all
that my whole life
whether it be long or short
shall be devoted to your service
God help me to make good my vow
and God bless all of you who
are willing to share in it.
…Her Majesty The Queen
on her 21st birthday 21 April 1947
I stayed up and watched the State Funeral of HM Queen Elizabeth II for 9 hours on the BBC channel. It was beautiful. I loved that they even included her favorite horse and her Corgi dogs. We share a love for animals.
Queen Elizabeth II had a very long life of devoted service. The four golden threads, central to her life, were Service, Duty, Faith and Family.
...and that I may faithfully serve Him and you all the days of my life.

It is interesting that Harry and Meghan got married on my birthday (May 19) and Queen Elizabeth’s funeral fell on my son’s birthday (September 19). It is a way to always remember.
I am still having trouble with our WiFi and now photo apps that I use. I am posting from my iPhone. Hoping one day it will all be resolved.
I love this picture. Many have never known another sovereign ruling over Great Britain. When ever we were taught in school who was the Queen, it has always been her. She has left quite a legacy which will be difficult to follow.
God truly blessed her with a long good life.
