‘Waterloo Clump’ by gavj

‘Waterloo Clump’

Waterloo Clump is the traditional name, Winshill Water Tower, is the more modern name of this structure.
It was originally built in 1907 by the South Staffordshire Water Company, after a local resident complained about the poor water pressure in the area.
It ceased the function of maintaining water pressure in the 90’s and now serves as a Radio Tower.
It is visible from practically every direction, as you approach Burton on Trent, and is an instant reminder that you’re nearly home👍
📷Wideangle as the tool of choice, some lovely clouds for some drama, a nice depth of field to dish up the detail, them a cinematic colour palette for pudding, lovely Jubbly 📷
