I was extremely busy today with Thanksgiving dinner preparations and then lots of wonderful family visiting time. It was a fabulous day but I was quite happy after the final goodbyes and I could spend some alone time with my camera. This rose has been sitting on my counter for over a week . . . a simple but special gift from a friend. It seemed like the perfect subject for the end of this busy day . . . simple but beautiful. Decided to shoot from a different angle . . . maybe I am just exhausted and need sleep but the lighter colors look "dreamy" to me.
