@gaylewood I came home with cut flowers from the grocery today, but I spotted the orchid plants as we were leaving... *The Whole Plant* would cost less then cut flowers! I was surprised...and I know what I'm getting next time!

@Weezilou I'm always amazed at how expensive flowers can be . . . but they're hard to resist because their beauty is so uplifting and enjoyable. My husband and I love orchids. Do you have someone look after your California plants while you're in Canada for the summer?

@gaylewood We have someone stay at the house here while we're away in Canada. Up there, I left my house plants with a friend who has an amazing green thumb! When I first saw "her jungle", I knew who I wanted to look after my greenery! I'm hopeful mine will be inspired by their close proximity to hers!
