30 Days Wild - Day 26

I have been absent from 365 for several days due to a family medical emergency. During that time away, I was amazed at how much I missed taking and posting my daily photos . . . and also how much I missed viewing and commenting on all the wonderful projects I follow. So I am very happy to be back in action!

I was quite happy to follow this speckled juvenile robin all around the backyard this morning to get some shots. Since I have to catch up on some missed days, I decided to post two views of this young robin. I really like that speckled breast.

Lovely detail. I didn't realize juvenile robins' breasts aren't red. I'll need to be more observant.

Good to hear that things are now back to normal. Great shot of this little bird. They are so fun to see flying horizontally as they learn to use their wings.
