Finally . . . I have landed my 365th photo! It took me longer than a year to reach photo number 365 . . . I had to take several breaks due to life situations beyond my control. After each break, I couldn't wait to get back into my photo project. Learning something new about photography every day and getting to know so many wonderful people around the world have made this 365 project an extremely important part of my life. It's what I do every day and I love it! Thank you all for your daily support, not only in commenting on my photos, but by posting all of your incredible photos which I learn from and enjoy tremendously.
Congratulations Gayle! This project is pretty incredible, for all the reasons you listed and more. I'm so glad Henri planted the seed for me. Super happy for you, it is a huge accomplishment! This cardinal is wonderful too!
Congrats on 365 Gaye. What an outstanding photo. Great focus and composition and awesome light. Fave for me.
I am so glad I joined this project too and get to see awesome photos like this.
Congratulations, and what a gorgeous shot to land on! I love your composition -- the positioning of the bird's wings gives such a sense of motion and graceful look to the bird.
Congratulations Gayle. And well done for managing to pick things up after each break - I know it isn't easy even when it is enjoyable. Looking forward to sharing many more photo conversations with you.
That is wonderful to make the 365 photo. Everyone's journey is unique to them and it so wonderful to see the variety of life, yet all connected by a common thread.
@evalieutionspics@evalieutionspics Thank you for expressing your concern about the split-beaked cardinal . . . he's here at the feeders every day. He has adapted well, he tilts his beak to the right side to scoop up seed. I call him Mr. Split-beak. It's kind of cool to be able to identify a particular bird when he comes around . . . the others all look the same so try as I might, I'm never really sure which one is which. :-)
I am so glad I joined this project too and get to see awesome photos like this.
I enjoy seeing your little split-beaked cardinal. I always worry about them
