This cute critter spent some time sitting on the fence deciding whether he should continue on his way with what appears to be an acorn in his mouth or jump down into the yard where there were sunflower seeds and other treats available for him. In the end, he decided to continue on his way . . . perhaps the fact that I was sitting nearby with a camera had something to do with his decision. :-)
Wonderful capture of this little character!! (I love squirrels and wish there were more around where I live. Actually there aren't any so ONE would be a major increase in population.)
