Wing Motion by gaylewood

Wing Motion

If you look carefully, you can see the blurred motion of the bee's wings. I read online that the bee's wings are small for its body, but beat 200 times per second letting the bee fly or hover in one spot.
Wonderful action shot of the bee's wings. The blur shows how fast they are moving. Thanks for the information as I did not know that. Great capture.

Until I read your explanation I thought maybe that was a spider web in the background. Fantastic! FAV and a Follow! (When I was a kid they used to tell us that scientifically bumble bees couldn't fly, they just didn't know it.)
