After a three day road trip from Ontario to Manitoba, we are now at Lake Winnipeg. Unfortunately, I had a migraine the entire three days we were driving...it was a terrible trip. I'm so happy it's over and I'm feeling normal again.
It felt so wonderful to walk along the beach this evening . . . strong wind, no headache, and the almost setting sun shining beautifully on the water. :-)

The golden sheen where the waves have been lapping is delightful. This looks so good anyway but on black is absolutely fantastic. So sorry to hear about your trip with a migraine. How dreadful to experience. Lovely to have the relief of it gone. your photograph here is an excellent celebration.
