My son took piano lessons for about ten years and he had a piano recital every year at Christmas time. I always enjoyed his recitals although I know I was every bit as nervous as he was when he walked up on the stage and sat down at the piano. I pulled out some of his old holiday piano books today and spent some time looking through them and enjoying the wonderful memories of all those Christmas recitals when he was young.

Lovely shot. I took piano lessons when I was pregnant with my youngest ( who is now 11). After 9 months I think I could play 5 almost recognizable songs. But all is forgotten now.

Very pretty tribute to those years. One of my sons played the violin and the other the clarinet. I always loved hearing them play and even hearing the practicing.
