It was quite special seeing the look of amazement on the young lady's face when this Owl Butterfly landed on her hand. I was standing right next to her ... she asked if I would take a photo and then kept her hand perfectly still for several shots. She gave me her email address and I sent her a couple of photos. Such a beautiful butterfly...even with the tattered wings.

You've captured lovely detail in the butterfly Gayle. I wonder if cropping the bright light on the left hand side would give more attention to butterfly. (Just a thought) :)
