Well, this is my final photo of my second year...
I have so much to say!
First of all, what a year it was! It was harder than the first year, it felt very hard that I wasn't here all the time to give back all the wonderful comments. And sometimes I felt like giving up and I needed some breaks. But now I'm really happy (and a bit proud) that I continued. I look back and realise I made some wonderful photo's and made a lot of wonderful friends here. And that makes me so happy!
I think this last collage says it all, it's a roller-coaster of emotions to do such a project. I had to do a selfie as my final picture, because, well, selfies were a big part of my project here. I hosted the "Me every week - challenge" here for 52 weeks. It was a great challenge and I was always happy to see how much talent there is here on this site.
And because I'm due to forget some names, I will thank you all. Thank you, my dear friend, you gave me strength to cope with stuff, you prayed for me, you said something kind about my photo, you made me laugh, you were patient with me, you showed me your wonderful live through your pictures, you inspired me, you kept coming back to my project. I love you! I will remember you!
Awwww...let me be the first to say.....love this! I shall fave it so I can keep it....to remember you, to remember we are not alone out there, someone to share with. Hope you'll be calling in sometime, I couldn't leave this wonderful place behind! Thanks for all your inspiration and your friendship, good luck for the future...I shall remember you too. xx

How sad to see the last of your photos, Geertje. I'm faving this so I have a collection of little Geertjes to cheer me up and inspire me as I move through my project during this third year. It will not be the same without your great shots popping up on my dashboard. Love and best wishes in everything you do.

A shame you're leaving, just as I'm starting. I've seen many of your photos through my sister's project - yes, a voyeur...I can tell you've touched people across the world. That is special. (oh, fav)
First of all you are beautiful and I love your farewell collage, however , I am saddened that you are leaving, I enjoyed your photos and comments, you were always thinking outside the box with you shots. I will miss you, and with that I fave this great parting collage
Congratulations on two years Geertje, that is such an accomplishment! Maybe after a year away you will feel like coming back, I hope so! I am coming to Amsterdam later this year so I will get a glimpse of your beautiful country!

I too am finding the second year harder, but glad you came back and sometimes you don't realize its others that will miss you and your work. You inspire me with ideas to try, so I hope you stay around

I join with many others in congratulating you on finishing year #2. I know how monumental that feels! As with so many others your photos always brought me great pleasure to see and also inspired me to dream what I might be able to do with a better camera someday. But I also enjoyed seeing the beautiful things you would spot on your walks and truly understood the struggles and times when you had to push through whatever life tossed at you- overcoming the obstacle of pain is also a monumental task! I hope you will look me up on FB although I'm not on there as much as I'm but at least I'd see you once in a while! As always you've outdone yourself with another creative selfie! Awww, sad to see you go :o( I started following you when you were doing the 'me every week ' and even though I didn't interact with it a great deal it really gave me a push to take selfies...incidentally it also gave me my current profile pic. You've had such a wonderful album but I'm sad that I wasn't able to keep up with you so much during your second year. I hope you'll return some time and I hope when you do you'll see if I'm still here. I'm fav'ing this so I have a record of your lovely face/faces :o) Congrats on completing year two. Thanks for everything you have done for the me every week challenge. That was the first challenge I ever won on the site and was so excited.
