Snow-Covered Mountains in Kansas

While preparing dinner, I glanced out the kitchen window and noticed the "snow on the mountains". Since Kansas is part of the Great Plains in the Midwest, it must be another storm front building to the north of us. Thanks for your views, comments, and favs!

(Not as clear as I would have liked, but this scene reminds me of a painting my grandparents had so I'm posting it anyway.)
Wonderful picture. We got the storm in Denver last night with areas getting gusts over 80 mph.

I puzzled when I read your title - Kansas? - cute thought - hope those clouds didn't bring you any of the white stuff - nice composition.

Beautiful! We had clouds like this over the Mississippi this evening, which I did not have time to pull over from driving and shoot... Love the colors and the thunderhead clouds.
